Our mission is to enable innovation, capital, and talent to move more freely across borders, cultures, and systems, unlocking opportunities that would otherwise remain invisible or inaccessible. We work at the intersection of corporations, founders, investors, and public institutions, helping them collaborate more effectively in complex, cross-border environments.
At the heart of Felage is a conviction shaped by years of hands-on work in Japan and globally: meaningful opportunities do not require perfect access, native fluency, or insider status. They require curiosity, trust, and the willingness to engage with complexity. We believe that one does not need to be Japanese, or speak Japanese, to contribute meaningfully to Japan’s future, just as Japan has much to offer the world beyond its borders.
Felage builds on the mission and experience of SKB.vc, a passion-driven platform co-founded to strengthen the Japan–global bridge. That mission now lives fully within Felage: to reduce friction, remove unnecessary barriers, and enable collaboration across institutional, cultural, and geographic boundaries.
In practice, this means designing, evaluating, and applying frameworks that help channel not only capital, but also experience, judgment, and long-term commitment across borders. Over time, we aim to support builders with global ambitions and to contribute to technologies and initiatives that strengthen both societal resilience and planetary well-being.
Felage is not a program, a fund, or a campaign.
